In an interview with iHeartRadio, Rihanna confirmed that the lead single from the upcoming album is called "Diamonds" and will premiere the song on September 26, 2012. She described the track as "happy and hippy" and that it's "different to what people would expect".[132] "Diamonds" was released on the same day on iTunes. Rihanna's seventh studio album is scheduled for a November 2012 release.[133] Her fifth tour, the Diamonds World Tour, is set to begin in March 2013.
